Watching Through My Fingers
I apologize for my brevity, but tomorrow I have a sick nasty test. Frank Booth is all evil. In movies like “Funny Games”, the evil characters are creepy because they are complicated with a sense of humanity or good. Not Mr. Booth. Javier Bardem portrays a similar all evil character in “No Country for Old Men.” Disentangling evil from good requires more on the actor’s part to portray as realistic. Hopper nailed it. I watched the last scene through my fingers, and will definitely have a nightmare or two.
